Baker men grab second place finish at HAAC meet

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - In the men’s 8-kilometer race, the Wildcats compiled 70 points to place second behind Graceland (16).

Baker junior Chris Scheideman finished 10^th overall in 26:52.60 to qualify for the national meet in two weeks. Sophomore Aaron Caldwell (11^th, 26:59.78) and sophomore Corey Clark (12^th, 27:03.38) were close behind their Wildcat teammate.

Sophomore Taylor Nall (17^th, 27:28.30), sophomore Eric Larson (25^th, 27:48.39), junior Justin Hill (26^th, 27:54.99) and freshman Jason Berry (31^st, 28:18.25) rounded out Baker’s top seven runners at the meet.

Graceland’s Yonus Gebretinais (24:58.18) and Neil Grundman (25:52.32) placed 1-2 to lead the Yellowjackets to the team title.
