BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – For the third-straight week, Baker University’s Aaron Caldwell won the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week award.

Caldwell continued an outstanding final collegiate campaign by earning the Runner of the Week award for the third time in the five weeks the award has been given.

A native of Overland Park, Kan., Caldwell finished 4th in the Haskell Invitational with a time of 25:17 over the 8,000-meter course. He bested the Wildcats’ school record by 17 seconds, a record he set one week ago.

This is the fourth honor overall recorded by the Baker men’s cross country team, freshman Jeremy Bryan earned the award back in week one of the season.

The weekly award winner will represent the HAAC in consideration for the NAIA Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week award, which will be announced Tuesday afternoons.
