Baker Softball Splits With Ottawa University

On a cold dreary day, the Baker women split their double header with Ottawa University on Wednesday afternoon. Erin Ford and Brooke Pryor chipped in with the two lone RBIs while leading the Cats to victory in game one. Ford went 2-2 from the plate, while Pryor went 1-3. Pitcher Amanda Phelps picked up the win while throwing a complete game with four strikeouts. In game two it was Amanda Phelps taking the mound, again throwing another complete game while giving up three runs en route to a 3-1 loss. The women will be back in action again on Sunday when they host Lindenwood University 13-10 (1-1). Baker sits at 4-11 overall. View full box scores.
