BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - Head softball coach Matt Windle is proud to announce that Kayla Morse has signed a letter of intent to play softball at Baker University. Kayla will graduate from Olathe Northwest High School (Olathe, Kan.) and is planning on majoring in nursing. Kayla was an important piece in her school’s first ever state title and undefeated season. Expectations are high for her senior season, but she welcomes the test to repeat. “Kayla is an absolute competitor and has the fundamental training to excel at the NAIA level. She is extremely quick, hits from both sides, and can play multiple positions. I am very happy to welcome her to Baker and expect great things from her," stated Windle.
The Wildcats begin their season on Feb. 27, in Olathe, Kan. at the MidAmerica Nazarene Invitational.
