Erin Greenwood went the distance on the mound pitching a complete game while giving up eight hits and three earned runs in the victory.
Game two saw Avila (1-19, 1-7 HAAC) jump out to an early 2-0 lead in the first inning, but Baker quickly answered in the bottom half thanks to a lead-off homer by Renata Dill on the first pitch of the inning.
Baker regained the lead in the third inning for good after Brooke Allen doubled to deep center and Katie Worley followed up with a two-run homer to deep left field. Cami Williams added to the total with a two-run blast in the fourth.
Baker cracked the game wide open in the sixth inning with four runs to seal the game with an 11-3 run rule.
The Wildcats return to action on Wednesday afternoon as they host Ottawa University at 5:30 p.m. from Cavaness Field.
