Wildcats face KWU in tune-up doubleheader before HAAC Playoffs
SALINA, Kan. – The Baker University softball team will play its regular season finale on Tuesday afternoon against Kansas Wesleyan University (27-13, 8-6 KCAC) at 3 p.m.
Baker (30-18, 13-7 HAAC) enters play riding a four-game winning streak with doubleheader victories over NCAA DII Washburn University and Bellevue University (Neb.)
Brooke Allen continues to lead the squad offensively with a .418 batting average and .660 slugging percentage. Erin Greenwood is the probable starting pitcher, as she enters play with eight victories and a 2.09 ERA.
Senior Sara Weber leads the Coyotes; she currently owns a .491 batting average with 51 hits on the season. Weber is ranked third nationally with 1.47 runs batted in per game. Heather Kelley leads the way on the rubber with a 1.85 ERA while only surrendering 11 runs on the year.
