Benedictine jumped out to an early 5-0 lead in game two and never looked back. Erin Greenwood gave up five hits and five runs over two innings of work and Baker didn’t tally any runs until the fifth inning.
Summer Kelley led the way offensively with two home runs and three RBIs in the contest.
Baker (18-11, 8-4 HAAC) currently sits in third place in the Heart of America Athletic Conference standings. The Wildcats host Central Methodist University on Tuesday for Senior Night at 4 p.m.
