The Wildcats improved to 3-3 on the year and will next take on Dickinson State and Valley City State tomorrow in day three of the Invitational.
In game one, Mallorie Nelson got the start and went six innings but was replaced by Brittany Vollenweider in the top of the seventh.
Vollenweider gave up three hits and loaded the bases and was then replaced in relief by Erin Greenwood.
Greenwood then closed the door on PUNC and Baker captured the win, 5-4. PUNC scored first in the top of the third, then added a run in the fourth. Baker received its runs in the fourth, fifth and three in the sixth.
The Wildcats had 11 hits on PUNC's Mollie Lindeman with Renata Dill, Ilona Miller, Summer Kelley and Peyton Weekly all picking up two hits each.
In game two, the Wildcats were shutout for the first time this season and managed just four hits. Alyse Menghini went 1-for-3 and Tara Chumley went 1-for-2.
Erin Greenwood went 5.2 innings and received the loss. Judson finished the day with five hits.
