Erin Greenwood and the Wildcats return home this Saturday
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Baker University junior pitcher Erin Greenwood earned the Heart of America Athletic Conference pitcher of the week award announced on Monday for her work in the Wildcats games at the Tucson Invitational last week.
Greenwood threw in six games for Baker on its 10-game trip in Tucson, Ariz., The junior out of Topeka, Kan., went 3-2 with a save in those six games and struck out 45 batters and allowed only eight walks. She also threw two complete game shutout victories.
The Wildcats are now 7-5 on the year and will return home this Saturday, Mar. 23 to take on Missouri Valley in the HAAC opener at 2 and 4 p.m.
