Baker is now 12-6 on the year and will return to conference play on Tuesday, Apr. 2 at 3 and 5 p.m. at Benedictine College.
Erin Greenwood threw another seven inning, complete game shutout in game one and struck out nine batters, while walking only one and gave up just three hits.
Baker and William Penn went scoreless until the fifth inning, when Baker's Tara Chumley singled in Brooke Plummer for the game winning RBI.
Greenwood then shutdown William Penn with two straight three and out's in the fifth and sixth inning and gave up just one hit in the bottom of the seventh, before striking out Callie Henry to end the game.
In game two, Carly Land shut down the Wildcats in six innings of work giving up just four hits and one earned run.
Alyse Menghini knocked in the only run for Baker with a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning. Summer Kelley had a team high two hits and Mallorie Nelson had the other hit.
Three 'Cats pitched in game two, Mallorie Nelson got the start and threw three innings giving up three runs and three hits. Brittany Vollenweider came in relief in the bottom of the fourth inning and threw two innings, giving up three runs of her own on five hits and Plummer came in in the sixth inning and ended the game after giving up three runs and the game ended in the sixth with William Penn taking home the 9-1 win.
