BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Baker University senior first baseman Summer Kelley earned this week's Heart of America Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week honor after slamming three home runs in the Wildcats six games last week.

Kelley recorded hits in five of six games for Baker, as the Wildcats posted a 4-2 record. A senior from Shawnee, Kan., she batted .444 (8-of-18) with a double, three home runs, five runs scored and six RBI.

She homered in three-straight games, including both ends of a doubleheader split with Evangel.

Kelley will represent the conference in contention for the NAIA Softball Player of the Week awards, which will be announced each Tuesday through the end of the regular season.

Baker is third in the conference standings with a HAAC record of 10-4 and will take on first-place Central Methodist this Tuesday, Apr. 16 at CMU at 4 and 6 p.m.
