The team ranked 10th overall among all NAIA schools with a 3.448 grade point average. The NFCA Academic Awards program honors collegiate and high school teams for their GPA's from the 2012-13 school year.
Taylor University was ranked first in the NAIA with a grade point average of 3.615. Madonna University and Southeastern University were ranked second and third. Madonna had a team GPA of 3.606, while Southeastern's GPA was 3.598.
Davenport University ranked fourth with a GPA of 3.549 and Spring Arbor University was fifth with a 3.548 GPA. William Carey University ranked sixth with a GPA of 3.546, while Valley City State University ranked seventh with a 3.475 GPA.
Central Methodist and Siena Heights University ranked eighth and ninth respectively. Central Methodist had a 3.456 GPA, while Siena Heights had a 3.451 GPA.
