Softball Program to Host Camp Jan. 20

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The coaching staff of the Baker University softball team in conjunction with the Between the Lines Academy will host a Fundamental Fielding, Pitching/Catching and Hitting camp on Monday, Jan. 20 at the Between the Lines Academy indoor facility in Shawnee, Kan.

Interim head coach Jamie Stanclift and assistant coach Gary Hines will host the event that will feature two sessions and is open to all ages, Session 1 will be a hitting session from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and Session 2 will run from 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. with fielding/pitching/catching. The camp will take place at the Between the Lines Academy at: 8225 Hedge Lane Terr. Shawnee, Kan., 66227.

This one-day camp will focus on the fundamentals necessary to make those that participate a complete player and prepare them for collegiate play.

Athletes will receive instruction from the BU coaching staff, as well as current BU players in hitting, and your choice of fielding OR pitching/catching. This is a great opportunity to gain college exposure from a school that is located in the Kansas City/Lawrence area.

The cost per session is $40 for non-Between the Lines Academy members and $35 for BTLA members. It will also be $30 for BTLA Panther Players.
