With the losses, Culver-Stockton falls to 7-15 and 2-4 in the HAAC. The Wildcats will next take on Peru State on Tuesday, Apr. 1 at 3 and 5 p.m. at Cavaness Field.
In game one on Sunday, Mallorie Nelson threw another gem with a one-hit shutout of Culver and she struck out 14 batters.
Nelson also knocked in a run at the plate after going 3-for-4. The other RBI came from Cari Vollenweider.
The Wildcats had eight hits as a unit, with Lizzie Stover going 2-for-3 and Alyse Menghini and Nelson each scored a run.
In game two, Katt Cooper got the start and threw six innings allowing just one earned run and struck out five batters. Brooke Plummer came in in the seventh innings and shut down Culver only allowing one hit.
Renata Dill led off for the Wildcats and had a 3-for-3 game with three runs scored a four RBI including a home run. Menghini also had a homer for Baker and two RBI.
The Wildcats scored 11 runs on 12 hits in game two and seven different Wildcats collected a hit.
Cami Williams went 2-for-3 and Peyton Weekly scored two runs.
