Dance Team Open House Postponed

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The two-time defending NAIA/NDA Small Dance Collegiate National Champion Baker University dance team will host its first annual Open House for all those interested in the surrounding areas in the BU dance team.

The free clinic will take place at the Mabee Gymnasium on Baker's campus but the date has been moved to a later time from its original Feb. 23 date because of inclement weather in the Baldwin City area.

All juniors and seniors in high school are invited to come out to our Baldwin City campus. The day will begin with two FREE mini classes from the BU dance team and alumni dancers, after classes everyone will move to the campus cafeteria for brunch with the team and then proceed on to a campus tour.

The Baker University dance team is a competitive team under the direction of coach Lynsey Payne. They perform at every home football game and most home basketball games.

They also work with Priscilla and Dana's Dance Studio in Gladstone, Mo., for competition choreography and preseason training. Each member of the dance team receives a scholarship that is renewable every year.

All those interested in the Open House are asked to fill out the following form to Coach Payne to reserve your spot. REGISTRATION FORM
