Campbellsville (Ky.) University snapped Baker’s winning streak with a five-set victory on Saturday (16-25, 25-20, 28-26, 22-25, 15-11). Allen recorded 42 digs and Pryor had 19 kills in the Cats’ loss.
The Wildcats responded with a 25-23, 23-35, 25-20, 25-22 victory over Lindsey Wilson College to close the tournament with a 3-1 record. Pryor was named to the all-tournament team after leading the field with 71 kills on the weekend.
Baker (24-2, 3-0) will be back in action at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when it plays host to conference rival Lindenwood University (19-6, 4-0) at the Collins Center.
“I am just so pleased with the way we are playing right now,” Baker coach Kathy Allen said. “I can’t wait to see how we perform on Tuesday night.”
