Baker volleyball travels to Missouri Valley Tuesday eveningVB Blocks

The Baker University Lady ’Cats volleyball team will resume their conference schedule Tuesday evening when they travel to Marshall, Mo.

Baker (25-3, 5-1 HAAC) has been idle since a three-set sweep of Evangel University last Tuesday. Missouri Valley comes into play 8-15 overall and 2-4 in league play. The Vikings sit in 7th place, while the Wildcats sit one game behind Lindenwood for a share of the conference lead in 1st place.

Baker continues to receive their offensive spark from Brooke Pryor who is averaging 4.2 kills per set (2nd overall in the HAAC). Tricia Mowatt of Missouri Valley currently leads the conference with 4.3 kills per set.

Defensively, Brooke Allen continues to dominate the league and NAIA Top 5 standings. Allen comes into play ranked 1st in the HAAC and 3rd in the NAIA with 6.7 digs per set. Allen is also ranked 2nd nationally with 675 total digs.

Junior Christina Delladio is currently ranked 10th nationally with 124 total blocks.

Junior Brooke Pryor is currently ranked 6th nationally with 417 total kills, and 11th nationally with 4.2 kills per set.

Baker defeated Missouri Valley last season 3-0 (25-9, 25-12, 25-18). Brooke Pryor recorded 9 kills, while Brooke Allen recorded 24 assists and 11 digs.
