Volleyball takes both games at double-dualChristina Delladio

The Baker volleyball team improved to 29-3 on the season Saturday afternoon defeating Haskell Indian Nations and College of the Ozarks.

Baker took down Haskell 25-13, 25-14, 25-20. Offensively the Wildcats were led by Nichole Kamies and Christina Delladio (pictured), who recorded 8 kills each. Jana Boss recorded 27 assists and Kelsey Allen converted two service aces as the Lady ’Cats rolled to a 3-0 victory.

The second game of the afternoon featured College of the Ozarks and Baker.  Both Baker and College of the Ozarks are receiving votes in this weeks NAIA Top 25 poll.

Offensively, Brooke Pryor came out on fire in the second game of the day. Pryor recorded 24 kills in the 3-1 victory.  Christina Delladio chipped in with 13. Defensively, Brooke Allen contributed with 37 digs.  Christina Delladio and Kelsey Allen each recorded two service aces in the (26-24, 28-26, 21-25, 25-21) victory.

The ’Cats will be back in action Tuesday evening when they take on William Jewell College at 7:00 p.m. in the Collins Center.
