BELLEVUE, Neb. – The Baker volleyball team will yet again face two teams ranked in the Tachikara-NAIA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll this weekend at the Bellevue Classic. The Wildcats will face No. 18 Morningside College (3-3) at 1:00 p.m. CT on Friday, before closing the day out against Concordia (4-2) at 3:00 p.m. CT.
Saturday’s action features a 9:00 a.m. CT showdown with No. 20 Doane College (2-2) and a 1:00 p.m. CT match with Midland Lutheran (3-2).
Baker’s defense continues to dazzle as it ranks second in the HAAC with 17.6 digs per set. 2009 HAAC Libero of the Year Brooke Allen currently ranks No. 22 nationally with 5.2 digs per set. Senior Christina Delladio leads the Wildcats with 1.2 blocks per set
Offensively, Brooke Pryor and Jana Boss have been dominate in their first four games of the season. Pryor is averaging 3.5 kills per set, while Boss has added 7.9 assists per set.
