Wildcats take HAAC opener, prepare for BU Invitational

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker volleyball team (5-4, 1-0) will get things kicked off at home this weekend when they host the Baker Invitational.

The weekend will include a full-slate of games; Baker will face McKendree (4-1, 0-0) at 3:00 p.m. CT on Friday and Oklahoma City University (1-3, 0-0) at 7:00 p.m. CT Friday. The Wildcats will return to the court on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. CT against Sterling College (3-2, 0-1) and 5:00 p.m. CT against John Brown University (6-2, 0-0).

The Wildcats defeated William Jewell College on Wednesday evening in their HAAC opener in Liberty, Mo. Christina Delladio and Brooke Pryor led the way offensively recording 11 and 13 kills respectively.

HAAC Setter of the Week Jana Boss was at it again. Boss recorded 34 assists on Wednesday evening en route to the 3-0 (25-22, 25-18, 28-26) victory.

Defensively, HAAC Libero of the Week Brooke Allen had a team-high 16 digs.
