BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - The Baker women's volleyball team won its seventh straight match on Tuesday evening when it defeated Missouri Valley College, 3-0 (25-17, 25-12, 25-17).

Brooke Pryor anchored the offense, recording nine kills. Christina Delladio (pictured) chipped in with seven. Setter Jana Boss had 23 assists in the contest.

The Wildcats will be back in action this weekend when they travel to Olathe, Kan., where they will face two top 25 programs in No. 21 Bellevue University and No. 24 Dordt College.

On Friday the Wildcats face Grand View at 1 p.m. and return to the court at 5 p.m. to face No. 21 Bellevue. Saturday's action will see the Wildcats face Hastings at 10 a.m. and No. 24 Dordt College at 2 p.m.

"This weekend will include some big matches against some very good teams," said Baker head coach Kathy Allen.

The Wildcats will return to their home court on Tuesday when they face conference foe Evangel University. The Crusaders ended the Wildcats' dream season last year in the second round of the HAAC Tournament.

"We’re beginning to really gel as a team, but we need to keep getting better each and every practice, and each and every match," Allen said.
