Wildcats fall in HAAC Semifinals to Lindenwood, 3-1

ST. CHARLES, Mo. – The dream season the Wildcats had envisioned just wasn’t meant to be in 2010. The Wildcats were knocked out of the HAAC Semifinals on Wednesday evening at Lindenwood University.

After falling down two-sets-to-zero, the Wildcats put together a courageous rally to take set three, 29-27. It wasn’t meant to be though. Lindenwood closed out the Wildcats season in the fourth set, 25-23.

Savannah Smith (14), Christina Delladio (13), and Brooke Pryor (12) all contributed to the offensive attack recording double-figure kills.

Defensively, Brooke Allen and Kelsey Cobb led the way with 28 digs and 21 digs respectively.

Looking forward to 2011, the Wildcats return nearly every key player aside from Brooke Pryor and Kendra Stephens. Brooke Allen will be looked upon for senior leadership and coach Allen has hopes that someone can slide into the gap where Brooke Pryor dominated for four years.
