299 Wins

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker women’s volleyball team definitely wasn’t going to look past Central Methodist (3-9, 0-3 HAAC) on Tuesday evening at the Collins Center.

The Wildcats, 13-10 overall and an undefeated 3-0 in conference defeated the Eagles in three sets (25-9, 25-11, 25-14).

Christina Delladio led the Wildcats with nine kills on the night, while Sydney Pemberton (seven kills) and Savannah Smith (six kills) each added to the offensive effort. Setter Jana Boss had 24 helpers in the game.

Defensively, Brooke Allen finished with 15 digs and Jana Boss added 10.

“It was nice to see us look at little more consistent,” said assistant coach Matt Windle. “Next Tuesday is a pretty big deal for coach Allen, we look forward to a big crowd as we take on one of our biggest rivals in Graceland University.”

Since taking over in 1998, coach Allen has established herself as one of the top coaches in the NAIA. She currently ranks 25th on the active wins list with 299 career victories and 14th on the active winning percentage chart at .637.

First serve next Tuesday is slated for 7:30 p.m. in the George F. Collins Center.
