Baker volleyball faces Graceland in HAAC semifinal game

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker University volleyball team will look to keeps its postseason run alive on Wednesday evening as they host Graceland University at 7 p.m., in the George F. Collins Center.

Baker (25-10, 10-0) is currently the No. 1 overall seed in the Heart of America Athletic Conference and is coming off a commanding 3-0 victory over Avila University in the HAAC quarterfinals.

Senior Christina Delladio continues to lead the Baker offensive attack with 2.6 kills per set. Junior Jana Boss leads the team with 8.6 assists per set.

Defensively, senior Brooke Allen leads the team with 5.1 digs per set.

Graceland (17-12, 5-4 HAAC) is coming off an opening round quarterfinal victory over Benedictine College. The Yellowjackets defeated the Ravens in straight-sets 3-0.

Brittany McDonald continues to lead the squad’s offensive attack with 3.5 kills per set. Hannah Smart continues to stabilize the defense with 4.1 digs per set.

First serve is slated for 7 p.m., in the George F. Collins Center.
