Wildcat volleyball team signs 12 for 2012 season

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Coming off a banner year in 2011, the Baker University volleyball team has already begun preparations for the 2012 fall season as head coach Kathy Allen announced the signing of 12 new student-athletes.

“I think a number of these players will have a chance to step in right away and compete for a spot on varsity,” Allen said. “Just about every newcomer we’ve signed has had some sort of sustained success at the high school or junior college level, they’ll be ready to take it to the next level here at Baker University.”

Baker finished the 2011 season with a 26-11 overall record and an unblemished 9-0 record in Heart of America Athletic Conference play.
