Baker improves to 7-1 at home on the year and 12-9 overall, while Ottawa falls to 12-5.
The Wildcats trailed for most of the first set and was down by as many as six points late, 17-11. But with Savannah Smith serving, the Wildcats rallied off nine straight points and led 20-11, holding on a late rally by OU and winning the first set, 25-22.
Just like the first set, Baker trailed for the majority of the second set, but again came from a large deficit to win the second, 25-22.
Then in the third, Baker led by as many as 13 points and rolled to a three set win. Setter Jana Boss was all over the floor with her nine kills, 17 assists and 13 digs.
The match was won on the net with Baker collecting 21 block assists and 12.5 total team blocks.
Savannah Smith and Danielle French each had a solo block and collected three service aces at perfect times in the match from Smith, Crystal Simon and Shannon Bond.
Baker will next take on Missouri Valley next Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. on the road. Baker is 2-1 in the HAAC.
