Baker is now 16-11 overall on the season. The Wildcats hit .320 as a team and recorded 14.5 total team blocks and played a consistent match throughout.
Savannah Smith had a team high 11 kills and had zero attack errors for a hitting percentage of .393.
Shannon Bond led the team with a .444 hitting percentage and fellow freshman Danielle French was a force at the net with two solo blocks and assisted on eight blocks.
Jana Boss had 31 assists along with three kills and six digs and Renata Dill led the team in digs with 14.
Baker has a huge match coming up later this week as they travel to Olathe, Kan., to take on rival MidAmerica Nazarene University on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. The Pioneers are ranked No. 21 in the nation and sit atop the HAAC standings in first-place with a perfect 6-0 record and overall record of 18-4.
