Boss and Dill helped lead Baker to a four-set win over Benedictine College in the regular season finale and a four-set win over Avila in the first round of the HAAC Playoffs on Saturday at the Collins Center.
Boss claimed her second Setter of the Week award of the 2012 season after helping the Wildcats move on to the HAAC Tournament semifinals.
A senior setter from Shawnee, Kan., she averaged 9.1 assists and 2.4 digs while also adding 14 kills and 10 blocks (two digs). She opened the postseason with 43 assists, 13 digs and seven blocks in the victory over Avila.
The Baker defense got a strong performance from Dill, who also picked up her second weekly award of the season.
A junior from Manhattan, Kan., she averaged 4.6 digs per set while tallying a .980 reception percentage with just one error in 51 attempts.
Baker will next take on No. 1 seeded MidAmerica Nazarene this Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. in Olathe, Kan., in the semifinals of the HAAC Tournament. MNU knocked out Baker in the finals of the HAAC Playoffs in 2011 and ended the Wildcats season and its national tournament hopes.
