Baker volleyball grabs key 3-1 victory over MidAmerica Nazarene
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker University volleyball team won a key HAAC match-up on Tuesday evening, defeating MidAmerica Nazarene 3-1.
After jumping out to an early 2-0 set lead, MidAmerica managed to battle back in the third set, and really made things interesting in the fourth before the Wildcats finally put the Pioneers away.
Three Baker players recorded double-digit kills as Savannah Smith led the offensive attack with 12, while Christina Delladio and Sydney Pemberton each added 11.

Potential HAAC championship on-the-line Tuesday evening
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker women’s volleyball team won its tenth-straight match this past weekend as the Wildcats went 4-0 at the Hannibal-LaGrange Invitational.
Baker’s Christina Delladio was named to the all-tournament squad after finishing the weekend with 57 kills and 20 blocks.
With the victories, the Wildcats moved to 21-10 overall and currently sit atop the Heart of America Athletic Conference standings with a 6-0 conference mark. Tuesday evening’s foe MidAmerica Nazarene is the only other team in the HAAC with an undefeated record at 5-0.

Wildcats vault to first-place in the HAAC with victory over CSU
CANTON, Mo. – The Baker University volleyball team took care of business in under an hour on Thursday evening, defeating Culver-Stockton College 3-0 (25-17, 25-7, 25-11).
Christina Delladio led the offensive attack with 10 kills and Savannah Smith chipped in with nine. Jana Boss had 24 assists in the contest.
Defensively, Kelsey Cobb led the ‘Cats with 12 digs and Brooke Allen added 10 digs.
Baker (17-10, 6-0 HAAC) travels to Hannibal LaGrange on Friday and Saturday where they will face Mayville State (N.D.), Stephens College (Mo.), Hannibal LaGrange, and William Woods.

BU volleyball improves to 5-0 with victory over Benedictine
ATCHISON, Kan. – The Baker University volleyball team sits atop the conference standings with MidAmerica Nazarene after defeating Benedictine College, 3-0 on Tuesday evening.
Sydney Pemberton led the Baker offensive attack with 12 kills, while Jana Boss added 25 assists.
Both Brooke Allen (14 digs) and Savannah Smith (10 digs) anchored the Baker defense. Allen also recorded two service aces in the contest.

Wildcats defeat non-conference foe Tabor; look forward to Benedictine
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker University volleyball team won its fourth straight match on Saturday afternoon, defeating Tabor College 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-17).
Christina Delladio led the Baker offense, recording seven kills and two blocks. Setter Jana Boss added 34 assists and libero Brooke Allen finished with 13 digs.
Baker (15-10, 4-0 HAAC) travels to Benedictine College (8-14, 3-1 HAAC) for a key conference showdown on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.

Coach Allen ranks among BU’s best of all time
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Tuesday night will go down as one of the all-time special moments in Baker athletics history.
With a 3-1 victory over Graceland at the Collins Center, Wildcat head volleyball coach Kathy Allen recorded her 300th career win, becoming only the second Baker coach in any sport to achieve that milestone.
The longest tenured coach at Baker with 13 years of service, Allen’s teams annually rank among the elite in the Heart of America Athletic Conference and perform well in the classroom with five recent players earning NAIA scholar-athlete recognition.

Wildcat cruise past CMU as coach Allen wins 299th career game
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker women’s volleyball team definitely wasn’t going to look past Central Methodist (3-9, 0-3 HAAC) on Tuesday evening at the Collins Center.
The Wildcats, 13-10 overall and an undefeated 3-0 in conference defeated the Eagles in three sets (25-9, 25-11, 25-14).
Christina Delladio led the Wildcats with nine kills on the night, while Sydney Pemberton (seven kills) and Savannah Smith (six kills) each added to the offensive effort. Setter Jana Boss had 24 helpers in the game.

Wildcats sweep local rival Ottawa 3-0
OTTAWA, Kan. – The Baker University volleyball team continued its hot streak on Tuesday evening defeating local rival Ottawa University 3-0 (25-16, 25-23, 25-20). With the victory, Baker improved to 11-9 on the season, moving head coach Kathy Allen to within three victories of 300 for her career.
Senior Christina Delladio led the way offensively recording 14 kills and eight blocks. Junior setter Jana Boss had 31 assists in the contest and libero Brooke Allen added 10 digs.
