Baker men grab third-place at CMU Invitational, women take fifth
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - The Baker University track and field team was back in action this weekend when they traveled to the Central Methodist Invitational.
Junior Mary Loveland highlighted things on the women's side taking first-place in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 12:04.06, a victory of nearly 25 seconds.
Both Kayla Irwin (Pole Vault) and Aubree Gustin (Javelin) claimed first-place in their respective field events.
On the men's side, the 4x400 relay team of Aaron Hannon, Reggie Harris, J.L. Anderson, and Kome Okiomah had another good showing posting a second-place finish with a time of 3:20.67, finishing behind host Central Methodist University.
The Wildcats will back in action beginning Wednesday at the annual University of Kansas Relays.
