Baker grabs second-place; Kindler named Coach of the Year
Track and Field Team
Track and Field will look towards the 2010 National Championships.

ATCHISON, Kan. -The second day of the 2010 HAAC Track and Field Championships saw the Baker University women's team take second-place, while the men took third.

Freshman Devin Freeman (10,000 Meter Run) and junior Aubree Gustin (Javelin Throw) highlighted the women's side taking first-place in their respective events.

On the men's side, the 4x400 relay team, Travis Miller (High Jump), and Tanner Gleason (Decathalon) all took first-place.

Coach Kindler receives his Coach of the Year award.

The top overall point scorer in the men's division was Aaron Hannon with 30 points.

Co-Coach of the Year honors were awarded on the women's side with Lindenwood's Ed Harris and Baker University head coach Zach Kindler voted as the 2010 award recipients. Kindler was also named Coach of the Year in 2008.
