Korn leads the way at NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships

Two Wildcats competed on Saturday, the final day of the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championship in Geneva, Ohio.
Jeremiah Korn ended his freshman campaign with a third-place finish in the men’s shot put. Korn’s best throw came on his last attempt, a toss of 16.33 meters to edge Cody Weber of Hastings College by .09 meters for the bronze medal.
Jeremy Gathright placed 11th in the men’s triple jump with a leap of 14.58 meters.
As a team, the men finished tied for 32nd with six overall points.
The Wildcat track and field teams will kick off the outdoor season on Saturday, March 26 at the 70th Annual Baker Relays.
