For the third straight week, Baker earned the HAAC Indoor Track Men's and Women's Athlete of the Week award, as Aaron Caldwell and Megan Rosa picked up those awards this week.
Caldwell made an entry into the Baker record books this weekend after a top-five finish in the 3,000 meters. The senior from Overland Park, Kan., hit the NAIA automatic "A" standard with a school-record time of 8:41.85 and finished in fifth place among a field of 43 entrants.
Caldwell will represent the conference in the running for the weekly NAIA Men's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week award, which will be announced on Wednesday afternoon.
Rosa was awarded the honor for her performance at the Mule Relays where she recorded a NAIA automatic qualifying "A" standard time of 18:18.03 in the 5,000 meters to finish in fourth place.
Teammate Stephanie Nelson earned the HAAC Indoor Field award after taking first place in the shot put at the Mule Relays. A junior from Kansas City, Kan., also hit the automatic "A" standard with a toss of 13.64m on her final attempt.
Rosa and Nelson will also represent the conference in the running for the weekly NAIA Women's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week awards.
