Sloan was the MVP on the women's side of the HAAC Indoor Track and Field Championships after winning three individual events over the weekend. She was first across the tape in the 55m, the 55m hurdles and the 200m. She also ran the anchor leg of the Wildcats winning 4x400 relay team.
Gathright picked up two more first-place finishes to add to his resume over the weekend at the HAAC Indoor Track and Field Championships. He won the 200m with a time of 22.48 while also topping the field in the 400m with a time of 49.96. He also ran the anchor leg of the winning 4x400 relay squad.
They will both now participate in the 2013 NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships in Geneva, Ohio from Feb. 28-Mar. 2.
