BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Four members of the Baker University track and field team earned all four of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Weekly awards, announced on Monday.

The four 'Cats to earn the honor were Tyler Randall, Josh Peck, Billi Pipes and Valerie Schirmer.

Randall won the Indoor Track award, while Peck won the men's field honor, Pipes earned the women's track award and Schirmer won the field award.

Randall won the 400-meter dash on Friday afternoon at JCCC's Cavalier Open in a time of 51.51 in his young freshman season.

Peck finished in the top five of the standings in both the weight throw and shot put on Friday taking fifth in the weight throw and fourth in the shot put for the Wildcats.

Schirmer was just one spot away from capturing two event titles at the Cavalier Invite, as she took second in the weight throw in a mark of 15.54m and second in the shot put after a throw of 13.48m.

Billi Pipes not only won the 200-meter dash on Friday at the JCCC Cavalier Invite in a time of 26:08, but she also helped the Wildcats 4x400 meter relay team to a second-place finish.
