KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Baker University sophomore women's indoor track and field athlete Kayla Hannam earned this week's HAAC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honor after her performance at the University of Central Missouri Mule Run.

Hannam punched her ticket for the NAIA Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships with her performance at the Mule Relays, as she finished third in the pentathlon with 3,098 points, highlighted by qualifying marks in the high jump and long jump.

Hannam will represent the conference in the running for the weekly NAIA Women's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week awards, which will be announced on Wednesday afternoon.

She is the second Wildcat to win this award in 2014, teammate Valerie Shirmer earned the honor back on Jan. 20.
