BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Freshman sprinter Khadijah Lane broke the Baker University school record in the 600-yard run over the weekend and qualified for the NAIA National Indoor Championship meet with her time of 1:28.75 at the Bill Easton Classic at the University of Kansas.
MANHATTAN, Kan. – In its first indoor meet of the season, four Baker University track and field athletes earned qualifying marks for the 2013 NAIA Indoor National Championship meet while competing at the Kansas State University All-Comers meet at Ahearn Fieldhouse.

Baker track and field teams take home 2012 HAAC Championship
LAMONI, Iowa – It had been 12 years since the Baker women’s track and field team won a Heart of America Athletic Conference Championship, but that all changed on Saturday afternoon as Baker pulled away from runner-up Central Methodist University.
The defending champion men’s squad made it back-to-back titles for the first time under head track and field coach Zach Kindler.

Thurbon and Gathright take home weekly HAAC honors after Wildcat Open
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Junior Jeremy Gathright and sophomore Katie Thurbon were respectively named HAAC Track and Field Athlete’s of the week the league office announced on Monday afternoon.
Gathright claimed a pair of top two finishes this past weekend at the Wildcat Open to help in preparation for this week’s Heart of America Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship set to be held at Graceland University.

Baker track and field teams have another successful weekend
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker track and field team split up this past weekend and traveled to the KT Woodman Invitational at Wichita State and the William Jewell Gourley Open.
The severe weather warnings at both events didn’t bother the Wildcats.

Wildcats show dominance at CMU Invitational
FAYETTE, Mo. – The Baker men’s and women’s track and field teams showed their dominance this past weekend at the Central Methodist University Invitational.
The Wildcats took over the No. 1 spot in all but one relay in the HAAC conference rankings.
The women’s 4x100 relay team is still looking to punch their ticket to the 2012 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships, but managed to finish second with a time of 48.98 seconds. The men’s 4x100 meter relay team finished third, but overtook the top spot in the HAAC with a time of 42.99 seconds.
