Kome Okiomah took third-place in the men's 100 meter dash.

MARION, Ind. - Seniors Kome Okiomah (Pflugerville, Texas) and Aaron Hannon (Baldwin City, Kan.) led the Baker Wildcats this past weekend at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the Indiana Wesleyan University Outdoor Track Complex.

Okiomah took third-place in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.49. Hannon grabbed a third-place finish in the men's decathlon with 6,827 points.

All-America honors are awarded to the top six individuals in each event and all four runners in the top six relay teams.

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - The Baker University men's and women's outdoor track and field teams will have 10 representatives at the 2010 NAIA Track and Field National Championships held at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind., May 27-29.

ATCHISON, Kan. -The second day of the 2010 HAAC Track and Field Championships saw the Baker University women's team take second-place, while the men took third.

Freshman Devin Freeman (10,000 Meter Run) and junior Aubree Gustin (Javelin Throw) highlighted the women's side taking first-place in their respective events.

On the men's side, the 4x400 relay team, Travis Miller (High Jump), and Tanner Gleason (Decathalon) all took first-place.

Baker men grab third-place at CMU Invitational, women take fifth

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - The Baker University track and field team was back in action thisCarrie Lister weekend when they traveled to the Central Methodist Invitational.

Junior Mary Loveland highlighted things on the women's side taking first-place in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 12:04.06, a victory of nearly 25 seconds.

Both Kayla Irwin (Pole Vault) and Aubree Gustin (Javelin) claimed first-place in their respective field events.

The Baker track and field teams were back in action this weekend when they traveled to the ESU State Farm Relays in Emporia, Kan. The teams didn't dissapoint. The Baker men's 4x100 team (Hannon, Harris, Anderson, Okiomah) set a new school record with a time of 42.12, surpassing the previous record of 42.65 set in 2006 by Randle, Hubbard, Gleason, and Pitts at the Simpson Invitational.

JL Anderson and Jeremiah May were also successful in qualifying for the 2010 NAIA Outdoor National Championships with their respective performances in the 100 meter hurdles and javelin.

Junior Mary Loveland (pictured) highlighted things on the women's side taking second-place in the 5000 meter run with a time of 19.37.26. Junior Carrie Lister took second-place in the women's shot-put recording a mark of 12.30 meters.

Wildcat men win Baker Relays, women take secondMary Loveland

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - The Baker men's track and field team won its first outdoor event of the 2010 season this past weekend at the BU Relays. The Baker women took second.

The men's squad was highlighted by the 4x100 meter relay team that took first-place, running the event in a time of 42.24. The Wildcats also claimed victory in the 4x800 meter relays with a time of 8:22.47.

Individually, Aaron Hannon was stellar in the men's pole vault clearing a height of 4.26 meters to take first-place, earning the squad 10 points.
