Women’s Golf Earns HAAC Championship

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – For the second-straight season the Baker University women's golf team captured the HAAC Tournament Championship, this time a 13-stroke victory over second-place Graceland with a two-round total of 705.

This also marks just the second time in program history the 'Cats have captured the HAAC team title.

Kaci Dillingham, Lindsey Mateer and Emma Tinsley also finished in the Top 10, as Dillingham finished third with a two-day score of 170, Mateer finished tied for fourth with a 173 and Emma Tinsley was tied for seventh with a 179.

Rebecca Holder took home tied for 12th with a 183 and Missouri Valley's Clarissa Molina won the individual title with an 88 and 80, two-day score of 168.

Also for the second-straight season longtime Baker head men's and women's golf coach Karen Exon was named the 2014 HAAC Women's Golf Coach of the Year. Dillingham and Mateer were also named to the HAAC All-Conference team, which comprised the Top 10 players from the HAAC.

Baker will next travel to the 20th Annual NAIA Women's Golf National Championship from May 17-24 in Lincoln, Neb., at the Wilderness Ridge Golf Course.
