Women’s Golf Ties for 24th at Nationals

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Baker University women’s golf team competed in the 2014 NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship from May 20-22 at the Wilderness Ridge Golf Club and took home a tie for 24th-place with Brescia University after three rounds of golf.

The Wildcats shot a first round 361, second round 357 and a third round 350 for a total of 1,068. Lindsey Mateer T-95 with teammate Kaci Dillingham with a 255, and Mateer shot the lowest round of any Wildcat with her third round score of 81.

Rebecca Holder shot a three round score of 272 with her first and second rounds of 94 and improved by 10 strokes on Thursday with an 84. Emma Tinsley shot a 286 and Morgan Miller wrapped things up for Baker with a 305, good for 136th-place.
