Ottawa Invitational concludes with tough conditions
The BU women competed in the Ottawa University Fall Invitational Tournament last Wednesday and Thursday at Eagle Bend Golf Course in Lawrence. Conditions were tough both days, but especially the second day when a cold front and rain made the golf course and playing conditions pretty miserable. This tournament is the second of three fall tournaments for the women’s team.
The fall season concludes next week with the two-day 36-hole Missouri Valley College Tournament at Indian Foot Hills Golf Course in Marshall, Mo.
The Baker women were hampered by illness as freshman Haley Knowland came down with flu symptoms and went home to recuperate, thereby missing the Ottawa tournament. What follows are the team results and the BU individual scores.
