LINCOLN, Neb. – The Baker University women's golf team took on its first round of the 2013 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship at the Wilderness Ridge Golf Club in Lincoln, Neb., and shot a 364 total score, good for 26th-place.

Baker will next tee off at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning with Jade Brake teeing off. She will be followed by teammates Lindsey Mateer at 7:40 a.m., Bristol Brandt at 7:50 a.m., Rebecca Holder at 8 a.m. and Rachel Strecker at 8:10 a.m.

The Wildcats will pair up again with Bellevue (Neb.) and Lee (Tenn.) on Wednesday morning and will open day two of competition on hole No. 1.

Strecker shot the lowest score of the day for Baker with an 88, +16. Holder came into the clubhouse with an 89 + 17, Brandt shot a 93, +21, HAAC Women's Golfer of the Year Mateer shot a 94, +22 and Brake ended the day with a 101, + 29.

Embry-Riddle (Fla.) ended the day in first-place with a team score of 301, +13.
