BU Wraps up Second Round at Nationals

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Baker University women's golf team finished with a second round 365 on Tuesday afternoon in day two of the 2013 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship Tournament at Wilderness Ridge Golf Club.

The 365 was one shot over the teams 364 they shot in round one, and the Wildcats are currently in 26th Place with its +77, 729 total score.

Baker will now pair up with Bethel College (Tenn.) and Doane College (Neb.) on Thursday and will tee off at 9 a.m.

Bethel is in 25th-Place and Doane, who is the host school in the tournament, is currently in last-place, 27th.

Jade Brake will tee off at 9 a.m. for Baker, Bristol Brandt tees off at 9:09 a.m., Rebecca Holder will tee off at 9:18 a.m., Lindsey Mateer will get started at 9:27 a.m. and Baker's lowest scorer for the tournament, Rachel Strecker will begin the day at 9:36 a.m.

In day two, Brake shot a 95, Bristol Brandt shot a 97, Rebecca Holder shot a 93, Lindsey Mateer came in with an 87 and Rachel Strecker shot a 90.

Entering the third round, Jade Brake is at +52 in 142nd-place, Bristol Brandt is +46, tied for 138th, Rebecca Holder is +38, tied for 130th, Lindsey Mateer is +37, tied for 135th and Rachel Strecker is +34, tied for 121st.
