Mateer Ties for First at BU Fall Invite

LENEXA, Kan. – The Baker University men's and women's golf teams hosted its Fall Invitational on Sunday and Monday afternoon at Falcon Ridge Golf Course and both finished in second-place.

The women's team shot a first round 364 and followed that up with a second round 355 for a total score of 719, behind first-place Columbia College, who shot a two-day score of 690.

The men's squad shot a two-day total of 634 and finished behind fellow HAAC opponent Culver-Stockton, who shot a final score of 628.

Baker landed two golfers on the All-Tournament team, as Kaci Dillingham took fifth for a total score of 171, where she shot a 79 and 92 and Lindsey Mateer tied for first-place with a first round score of 85 and a second round score of 78 for a total of 163.

The men's team also had two golfers place on the All-Tournament team, as Grant Grego tied for fifth with a score of 154, after a first round 74 and second round of 80 and Andy Kelley had a 77 and 76 for a total of 153 and tied for second-place.
