On day one, Baker shot a team round of 356, just one shot ahead of Graceland, but then turned things around with a season's-best single round team score of 349 which was 38 strokes better than first-round team leader Graceland University.
The tournament victory for Baker continues the 'Cats hot play, as their last tournament loss to another HAAC conference school came in the spring of 2012.
Sophomore Lindsey Mateer won the individual title by 4 strokes with rounds of 84-85 over teammate and second-place winner freshman Kaci Dillingham who shot rounds of 88-85.
Sophomore Rebecca Holder finished tied for fourth with rounds of 87-89 and sophomore Jade Brake playing as an individual medalist scored a collegiate personal best 89 Monday to finish tied for 10th and teammate junior Morgan Miller shot rounds of 97-90 as she continues to get back into tournament form.
"I was tremendously impressed with our individual and team focus, especially Tuesday in difficult weather." said head coach Karen Exon. "The ability to come out in those conditions and better our first-day round by seven strokes was impressive. Next week's final regular season tournament at Alvamar Golf Club, the most difficult golf course in the HAAC, will be a great tune-up for the HAAC conference championship."
