The Baker women got back on track Sunday afternoon when they took on NCAA DIII Buena Vista University. The scoring came early and often in the first half. Christine Janssens scored the first goal just 2 minutes into regulation on a great cross from Gina Schiraldi.
Team goal scoring leader, Alix Schiraldi (pictured) also netted her fourth goal of the season midway through the first half giving Baker an early 2-0 advantage from which they never looked back. Bre Hoener added a goal at the 15-minute mark, followed by Mikayla Medlock and Christine Janssens, putting the score at 5-0 heading into the half. Baker recorded 22 shots on goal en route to the 5-0 shutout. The women now sit at 5-3 on the season. View the full box score here.
