The Wildcats went into halftime with a comfortable 2-0 lead, after Finola Corley scored in the 22nd minute and Alexa Fryer was on the receiving end of a beautiful pass from Shalynn Eldredge-McMillan for a goal in in the 26th minute.
After halftime Park senior forward Juneille Watkins got the scoring started for the Pirates with a goal in the 51st minute. Watkins wasn’t done, as she scored again in the 72nd minute with an assist off a corner kick from Alex Erickson.
The match then went back-and-forth for the next few minutes before Jordan Dolbin took the lead back for the Wildcats with a goal.
Watkins then connected on a penalty kick for the Pirates in the 83rd minute for a hat trick. But just four minutes later senior Dolbin came through again with a beautiful free kick goal from 25 yards out and snuck it past Park keeper Ellen Ghirardi to give Baker the lead for good.
Park falls to 1-3 on the year with the loss and Baker will now take on Hastings College this Saturday, Sept. 15 at 1 p.m.
