BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The No. 8 ranked Baker University women’s soccer team won its fourth straight game on Wednesday night with a 3-0 shutout victory over McPherson College at Liston Stadium.

The Wildcats improve to 5-1-1 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 1-3-2. Rachel Theobald earned the shutout for Baker with just one save on the night and McPherson attempted just two shots all evening. The Bulldogs took one shot apiece in each half.

The Wildcats took a season high 27 shot attempts with Jordan Dolbin leading the way with 11.

Shalynn Eldredge-McMillan put Baker on the scoreboard first with her second goal of the season in the 25th minute with the assist going to junior Ashley Sampson.

Baker scored again before halftime with a goal from midfielder Cali Proctor in the 38th minute. Proctor knocked in a shot right in front of the goal after Dolbin slammed a shot off the post and went directly to Proctor for the score.

After halftime, Kayla Infanti found the back of the net in the 55th minute to put Baker up for good 3-0.

Ashley Mauck was second on the team in total shots with six and Eldredge-McMillan took three. Morgan Anderson and Alexandria Paparella took the two shots for the Bulldogs.

The Wildcats will now travel to Salina, Kan., on Sunday, Sept. 23 to take on nationally ranked Kansas Wesleyan at 5:30 p.m.
