Baker falls for the first time in the Heart of America Athletic Conference this season and now stands at 3-1 in the HAAC and 9-3-1 overall.
Baker outshot Graceland 23-22 on the night and Jordan Dolbin led all players with 10 shots.
But Graceland scored the game-winner with just 27 seconds left in overtime to take over sole possession of first-place in the HAAAC. Sydney Nolan scored the game-winner for her second goal of the night past Baker keeper Rachel Theobald.
Sarahi Ortiz Casillas picked up the assist on Nolan’s game-winner. Baker began the match on a high note scoring in the 10th minute off of a corner kick pass from Dolbin to team leading scorer Alexa Fryer.
Dolbin sent a perfect ball up to Fryer and she collected it inside the box and sent one through the net past GU keeper Stefany Castano Cardozo.
Baker nearly went the entire 90 minutes with a shot out, but Nolan scored in the final minute to force overtime. Gisela Arrieta sent a long cross up to Nolan and she took the ball past the Baker defenders to tie things up at 1-1.
The Wildcats next match will also be on the road at No. 25 Benedictine College on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 5 p.m.
