Fryer picked up her second award of the season as she helped Baker to a 1-1 mark last week. A sophomore from Fort Collins, Colo., she scored twice in a 5-0 victory over MidAmerica Nazarene before adding her team’s only goal in a 2-1 defeat to No. 17-ranked Graceland to improve her team-leading goal total to 11.
Schiraldi captured the defensive award for the second-straight week to give Baker both awards for the first time this season.
A sophomore from Lenexa, Kan., she is a key member of the Wildcats’ defense that averages just one goal allowed per game and has recorded four shutouts on the season.
The HAAC Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week will represent the conference for the NAIA awards, which will be announced on Tuesday afternoon throughout the regular season.
